The Prince of Wales is a quaint old pub with quaint old accommodation rooms tastefully and comfortably refurbished. The staff are friendly and very helpful, the property is clean, the location is convenient to High Street shops, eating establishments parks and gardens and the Thames Path (in fact Mill Street is part of it), and the off street parking is very handy. It is close enough to High Street but without the noise and traffic. Excellent value for money

Rooms were in an Annexe and were a good size , very good bathroom / shower . Tea / Coffee , water and a few biscuits in the room when you arrive. It's very quiet and all the facilities worked as expected. The pub atmosphere is great and busy with local clientele so has a good village vibe. Breakfast made to order in the morning. Excellent location if you're doing the Thames walk - like ourselves as its 100 yards from the start of the path.

Room was clean, bedding and towels were great quality, lots of hangers and storage space, staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious and cooked to order with a large portion for a hungry husband. We didn’t eat at the pub but the pizzas looked absolutely amazing. A great base for a little weekend break, and we would definitely stay again.

The location was perfect for me,I was at a wedding close by and needed somewhere to stay for the night, the prince of wales suited my needs perfectly. The breakfast was perfectly adequate. Having had some very hot weather lately I was very happy to have a bedroom with an open window giving the room a nice airy feel. I slept very well.
